Lead bronzes - lead and nickel bronzes

Metallurgic properties
Antifriction bronzes par excellencxe.
The particular casting technique adopted provides castings with a double eutectoid structure with thin lead spheres distribuited along the whole matrix.
They have pproven to be ideal as for their creep and water resistance even at high temperatures with the possibility of self-lubrification in case of sudden running abnormality: low dry friction coefficient, low expansion at good thermal conductivity. The plastic of alloys prevents light misalignements which cannot be avoided in case of couplings on big dimensions.

Typical application
The trademarks of bronzes "CM" "DURAN" "MAC" assure the unchangingness of mechanical and metallurgical characteristics in the castings we produce.

CM2
Bushes and bearings (without coatings) for quick turning shafts; bushes for spindles, motors, crushers, granulators; gas rings for hydraulic cylinders and metallic gasket.
CM4 - CM4/A
Bushes for mixers, cold rolling mills, fifth wheels, standing presses; blade-lock for building and mining equipment.
CM7
Bushes and beraings submitted high loads for hot rolling mills; bushes for calenders up to 200°C; lock of cylinders and rotors for pumps; gibs and sliding guides; thick bushes for drawing machines.
